How we Operate:

The multi-racial institute currently houses 70 adults of both sexes, consisting of 36 people who need moderate care and 34 people who need specialized care. We only admit those in need of care who cannot cope on their own in the outside world.

The institute operates in several production units, each fulfilling a specific need in the daily run of the institute. The farm unit, for example, tend the vegetable garden, poultry, sheep and cattle (including a registered abattoir), while the kitchen unit takes it further with the preparation of the food and the cleaning of the kitchen. There are also units doing needlework, tending the garden, maintaining the vehicles, etc. Where possible the units are run to be economically independent.
